Hill House Guest House ~ Ventnor ~ Isle of Wight
Hill House is a Grade II listed building, which was constructed in 1835, and still has many original features. In an earlier life it was used as a bakery, and the original flagstone floor and two-foot thick walls can be seen before you enter the residents' dining room. The construction of Hill House, which is called "rubble-filled", is unique to these pre-Victorian buildings and gives Hill House a special character.
St Boniface Down provides a wooded backdrop to the house, which also has a view over the town and sea glimpses to the back. The town of Ventnor is only 50 metres away and the sea and coastal path is a 5 minute walk.
PLEASE NOTE HILL HOUSE IS NOW CLOSED.
